BARB Search & Rescue

Applicants must be over the age of 18 years, be physically fit, and must be available to dedicate time each week to training.
Our weekly training night is every Wednesday between 19:00hrs until 21:30hrs at the Marine Rescue Centre (TA8 1BB).
Additional weekend training is scheduled based on tide times, crew availability and training needs.
We don’t expect anyone to constantly be on call but do ask all crew members to be aware of the availability of each other to ensure we remain fully operational 24/7.

We are looking for volunteers to help us with fundraising, to open our Marine Rescue Centre during the day and to provide information on what “we do” to the public.
