BARB received a page requesting assistance to a report of a young male who had become stuck in mud near a local yacht club. Several other rescue services were also paged to attend including a neighbouring community rescue team and the fire service.
BARB crew were instructed to prepare one craft and remain at station while further details were gathered. The crew commander made their way to the scene.
The casualty was successfully rescued by a neighbouring rescue team using a throwline and brought to safety. No further action was required by BARB.
