Our volunteers were called out by Coastguards to investigate reports of a dog walker in potential difficulty on Burnham’s south beach.
The owner’s pet had run out of sight across the mudflats at low tide and there was concern from the owner that they would be putting themselves in danger in the mud to try reaching it.
Fortunately, as we arrived on scene, the dog was back on the hard sand and no further action was needed.
