BARB CALL-OUT #04: April 15.
Our volunteers were called out at 4pm due to concern for a woman stuck in mud on Burnham beach.
As our team gathered at our station alongside Burnham Coastguard Rescue Team in readiness to launch our hovercraft, the positive news came through that the casualty had managed to free themselves and we were stood down.
BARB’s volunteers are on standby 24 hours a day to respond to incidents along our coastline.
