BARB CALL-OUT #08: May 24th.
As our hovercrafts were returning from Call-Out #07 near Berrow Point they spotted a suspicious object located on the very low tide line near Stert Island which needed investigating.
Two of the Burnham Coastguard Mud Rescue Technicians got kitted up and once onboard the hovercrafts they were flown out to the object where it was found to be no danger to any shipping or water users.
With this complete, the hovercrafts returned to Burnham beach and returned to our seafront station for a clean down.
This was another positive multi-agency incident for the crews.
