Our volunteers were called out by Coastguards early this morning (Sunday) at 1.20 am to reports of a person stuck in mud on Weston beach.
As our hovercraft crews were about to leave Burnham, we received an update from the Coastguard that the person was no longer in difficulty and no further action was required.
BARB is available 24-hours a day to respond to incidents alongside the Coastguard and other local emergency services.
