BARB’s crews were called out at 10.47 pm this evening (Saturday) alongside Burnham and Weston Coastguards and the RNLI to reports of a missing person, possibly stuck in quick sand on Brean beach.
Both our hovercraft were taken by road to the rendezvous point at Brean’s Warren Farm Holiday Park.
Avon and Somerset Police, who were leading the incident, then informed us that the person had been safely found and no further action was required. Our volunteers returned to Burnham.
