Our volunteers were called out at 5.50pm to Berrow beach by Coastguards where a girl was reported to have gone missing by her parents. The family group had been together and the youngster had walked on ahead and at some point left the beach. While Coastguards talked with the worried family, gaining more information, including the exact last-known position and direction of travel, it emerged that the youngster had found a way back to their house across the golf course and was safe and well, which was very welcome news to all. BARB’s crews were stood down en route.
